The transportation Room displays:
- The Stagecoach which ran between Spearfish and Deadwood until 1913
- Two surreys, one of which was made by the Studebaker Company which later made automobiles
- A horse drawn Grain Wagon
- A Covered Wagon, typical of the ones pioneers used to cross the Great Plains
- A Hearse recovered from near Rockerville, SD
- A Tourist Wagon used to transport early tourists around the Sylvan Lake area of the southern Black Hills
- One of the country’s largest barbed wire collections
- The Bell and several photos of the train which ran between Belle Fourche, SD and Alladin WY
