Our Native American Display includes:
- Two eagle feather headdresses, one of which has a train of double eagle feathers falling four feet down from the headdress
- A buckskin shirt believed to have been made prior to 1850, which is beautifully adorned with porcupine quillwork
- A Ghost Dance Shirt
- A 50-70 Sharps Rifle which was confiscated from a Native American following the Wounded Knee Massacre in 1890
- A large collection of Native American Arrowheads
- Two ceremonial pipes, one of which has excellent lead inlay
- Several examples of beaded buckskin clothing, including a woman’s dress decorated with elk teeth
