Making a Gift to HPWHC
We thank you sincerely for your interest in supporting our work.
The High Plains Western Heritage Center seeks to accurately preserve our past in order for us to have a greater positive influence over our future.
It is important for communities to understand and value their common heritage. When that happens civic responsibility, citizenship and quality of life are enhanced. These links to our past tell us what values we should champion as we move ahead and what lessons we’ve learned that inform better decision making in the future.
Today, the High Plains Western Heritage Center cherishes our role in safeguarding and curating our history while educating citizens and visitors to sustain and strengthen those links.
We offer several ways for you to participate in that mission with us; from volunteer opportunities, joining our Heritage Society, to monetary gifts. If you choose to do so we welcome your support and look forward to your legacy becoming part of our heritage as we move forward together.
The High Plains heritage Society is a community of people who share our vision of understanding and preserving our past for the betterment of our future. We have three levels of membership:
Individual $50 – Family $100 – and Business $200.
We always appreciate your generosity. If you’d like to make a non-directed gift to support the Heritage Center tap or click the button to the left. These funds go toward improving our exhibits, museum experiences, our theater and improved signage (among many other things). Thank you!
We have a special fund earmarked specifically for paving our driveway and parking lot. This is one of the most important improvements that our board has identified. We are nearly halfway to completing the fund but if you’d like to help just touch or click the button to the left and make a donation of any amount. Thank you!!
You can now purchase a block on our Heritage Wall. A full block with a dedication or memorial message of your choosing is available for $500. A half block is $250. If interested, please call the Heritage Center at (605) 642-9378. If you’d like more information including photos and example blocks from our Heritage Wall, click the button below.
