“Axelbee Gang & the Gunfight at Stoneville, MT”
Presentation by Mike Madler
In territorial days, a band of outlaws known as the Axelbee Gang operated in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakota Territories. Stoneville (now Alzada, Montana) was a lawless frontier settlement and one of their havens. In 1884, the Axelbee Gang and lawmen from the Black Hills met at Stoneville for a fatal clash.

Debra Christofferson Movie Career Presentation & Reception

Star of the Oscar-nominated live action short, “Seraglio,” Debra began her career singing church solos here in Spearfish at age four and performing summers at the Black Hills Passion Play. She received a music/theatre degree from the University of South Dakota and has since worked extensively in both comedy and drama in film, tv, stage, voiceover, radio, commercials and video games. Debra is well-known for her recurring role as rubber-clad receptionist Geri Turner on “NYPD Blue” as well as for her provocative performance as Lila the Bearded Lady of Brussels on HBO’s “Carnivàle.” Her production company, Present Moment Productions, has three projects in development and she is currently filming her seventh season of the hit tv show “9-1-1” as 911 Call Center Supervisor Sue Blevins.
The event will include a showing of “Mouse Trap” followed by a reception with light appetizers.
