  • We offer guided tours, but ask that you please schedule a guide in advance. Call 605- 642-9378 or click here to schedule.

  • Yes! There are both indoor and outdoor displays and hands-on activities that help children understand High Plains life.

  • Yes. The front and back entrances both have handicapped parking and automatic doors leading inside. The main front entrance also has a ramp and an elevator is located inside. 

  • Although you can tour in an hour, to fully experience all the museum has to offer, two hours is recommended. Spend the whole day if you like!

  • No, you can purchase tickets when you arrive.

  • No pets are allowed. Only ADA-defined service dogs intended for physical disabilities are permitted.
